Did you know that by eating slowly, it will help to keep unwanted weight at bay?
Don’t try to shove all the food down your throat in less than 5 minutes. Your brain needs about 20 minutes to register that you are actually full. So if you stuff yourself with food faster than that, you will be consuming more than what you need before you realize it.
Try eating half of what’s on your plate, and wait 10 minutes. Continue to eat if you’re still hungry. Or, you can start eating your salad and soup before your main course so that it reduces your calorie intake from the main course.
